Conversation Tips
Write longer messages
Short one-word messages get short responses. Give your companion more to work with — share context, ask detailed questions, or describe a scenario. You will get richer, more engaging replies.
Be specific
Instead of "tell me something," try "tell me about your favorite place to relax and why you like it." Specificity gives your companion direction and produces more interesting conversations.
Play into their personality
Each companion has a distinct style. Lean into it:
- Ask Luna a philosophical question
- Challenge Aria to a debate
- Share something sweet with Sakura
- Trade jokes with Ren
The more you engage with their personality, the more natural and fun the conversation becomes.
Set the scene
You can set up scenarios or contexts for your conversation. Describe a setting, propose a situation, or start a story. Companions respond well to creative prompts.
Be patient with memory
On paid plans, companions build memory over time. It takes multiple conversations for your companion to accumulate a rich picture of who you are. The relationship deepens the more you chat.
Memory is available on Bond plans and above. See How Memory Works for details.
